The New Year will bring more spiked shoes, a trend many thought would die with 2012. So, should we be excited or fan our faces while yawning?

2012 is almost over, the year that saw a tremendous increase in all things spiked. As the New Year of 2013 draws near, we can’t help but wonder if we have seen the last of spiked shoes and accessories.

Some designers beg to differ (won’t bother naming names, you already know them). Many have chosen to embrace the ongoing trend with yet more spiked shoes and accessories in their upcoming Spring-Summer 2013 collection. Thought you had seen the last of spiked shoes and accsossories? Think again. Don’t put your punk jackets away so soon.
