We are all so thrilled to have black and white as the lasted “IN” color for spring. But we seem to have forgotten about one person who wears this color everyday of the year! Is it possible that singer-song writer Janelle Monae could have single handedly inspired the current spring color trend of black and white? A style that the singer uses to pay homage to her mother who used to work as a maid while the singer struggled to make ends meet before getting her break in the music industry. And of course, who can forget the creative director of Chanel, Monsieur Karl Lagerfeld in his trademark black and white attire. You look at every turn today, including major awards red carpets and all you see is the black and white trend. It is very refreshing and elegant, a far fry from the lime green we saw everywhere last year. Here are a few notables you might have already seen but probably not in a collective form as this. You get to pick your favorite look. 🙂

Kim Kardashian may have listened to her fans complaining about her tight leather outfits while pregnant (pictured farther below). She revealed a fresh new look in the current color trend of the season (black and white) in matching white pumps. She definitely looks like a graceful lady in this ensemble. We couldn’t be happier to see her in this fresh new look, appropriate for a lady expecting a baby. Congrats Kim! You did it! 🙂

It’s safe to assume this is every mother’s dream, to go shopping and/or sightseeing with their daughters. Victoria Beckham hopped over to Paris shortly after the London Fashion Week to take in the Paris Fashion Week which starts shortly. Until then, she’s seen doing a little sightseeing with her daughter Harper in color coordinated red shoes and coat. Victoria is wearing designs from her own collection matched with point toe skinny heels. Both appear to be very stylish as usual. Very chic and well suited for Paris –or anywhere else for that matter. J’adore!

Former member of the Pussycat Dolls, Kimberly Wyatt makes good use of her heels to show off her incredible figure and flexibility for Japanese skincare brand Yu-Be’s ad campaign. Just look at those legs and sheer strength! We love how the heels adds length to the overall dance line formation. So graceful!

The newly wed Justin Timberlake took his wife Jessica Biel to view the Tom Ford collection during London Fashion Week. They both looked so beautiful in Tom Ford of course. And how can we not notice their shoes! Shortly after the show, Justin took Jessica out to dinner. So adorable! We wish both of them well.

4 months pregnant Kate Middleton (Duchess of Cambridge) was anything but frumpy in a MaxMara wrap dress and black suede £60 House of Fraser court heels. She returned to her charitable duties after a holiday with her family on the exclusive Island of Mustique. This would be her first appearance on duty this year since suffering an acute morning sickness late last year. She looks healthy and glowing!
