Angelina Jolie’s Custom Made Maleficent Shoes

They say if the shoe fits, wear it, and it seems Angelina Jolie has taken that saying to heart.

At a the photocall in London for her latest film Maleficent, the 38-year-old actress donned a pair of striking white pointy wedges from Christian Louboutin, with transparent panels and a horn-like adornment on the heel.

Just three days earlier, she wore the same five-inch heels to another movie photocall in Paris, this time in black to match her dark outfit.

According to Us Weekly, there’s a reason she can’t get enough of the unique footwear, especially when promoting her new film – the shoes were custom-made for her by the designer.

The designer was already spellbound! ‘It’s exciting to work with a film that has such a strong aesthetic and a character as great as Maleficent,’ said Mr Louboutin. ‘I’ve been under the charm and spell of Angelina and her character.’

The eye-catching shoes are certainly spooky like Ms Jolie’s character; the white pair even had drips of red on the tips of the horns that looked like blood.

And it’s not the last we’ll see of them; Mr Louboutin has also apparently designed versions in red and gold that are soon to be released.
