To step into the Norma Kamali headquarters in New York City is akin to being transported to the future of technology in fashion. The legendary and iconic designer, well renowned for her innovation in fashion, has been setting the trend both in designs and fashion in technology for decades. Unmatched in the fashion space, Norma Kamali cleverly utilized her vast headquarters in the West Village of the city for her Spring Summer 26 collection presentation during New York Fashion Week. Mannequins stood in perfect formation in color schemes, showcasing various silhouettes from casual to draped formal dresses, crafted from her trademark stretch poly lycra, some of which were matched with lace, cotton and other sustainable fabrics.

The incomparable Norma Kamali has long been synonymous with comfort chic swimsuits and has successfully diversified her brand to be inclusive in size and styles. She has always been in a league of her own, ahead of her time, unwavering and forever setting the trend for current fashion tastemakers and generations to come.

I’ve got my sights on a few of the items presented. I simply can’t get enough of her creations. Clad in head to toe Norma Kamali leopard print collared shirt and leggings for my visit, I think I blended in perfectly with the mannequins. 😎
