Fashionable Sightings On Halloween
November 1, 2013 in Causes, Events, News by Bernd Ruhl
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without a few fashionable Shoeholics sprinkled in the mix at the 40th anniversary Halloween Day Parade in NYC. Click here to see the full coverage from the parade.
Shorty after the parade, our editors advanced to The Set NYC’s Masquerade Art Gala for Freedomladder, a charitable mission to stop child sex, slave trafficking which included a costume fashion show by Vogue and Inside New York featured designer Yesterdaynight, hosted by philantropist and award winning actress Qurrat Ann Kadwani. Our very own editor Tinu was one of the judges to handpick the best costume/mask. Winner gets a free 1 year subscription to Shoeholics magazine and beauty treatment at Exhale Spa. Complimentary copies of Shoeholics magazine holiday issue were available for the guests. Freedom Ladder uses popular vehicles of education and entertainment, such as comic books, to educate at-risk children about the danger of sex trafficking and empower them to protect themselves and live lives of courage, power, and inspiration. Visit Freedomladder to learn more about how you can support their mission. We hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween!
